    Vanessa is getting rave reviews for her acting in this movie. She gained 15 lbs for it, and plays a gritty character who has to get away from her abusive mother (Rosario) and live on the street. She must really know how to act.

    Two years is about right. She went through a short phase where she put on weight. Since then a beautiful butterfly has emerged from that chubby cocoon :p
