Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Curious, true, but I could find no relation between the two other than they both use dynamic IPs. No commonalities however, and there were lots to choose from. Sometimes a coincidence is just a coincidence. Thanks for bringing it to our attention though, it's always helpful.

    It does look like the same M.O.

    If Phun isn't already using one, there are plugins that can help detect multiple accounts beyond just checking for the same ip address. Basically, they store a cookie (or something similar) separate from the session cookie that would get deleted when you log out. Then it rechecks that cookie on log in to make sure it's the same user. Even if they manage to change their ip, it will usually still catch them if they are using the same browser.

    If you have frequent problems with multiple accounts, it might be worth looking into.
