  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I met Roger Ebert on CompuServe. I later met him in person at a book signing and we talked for quite a while. Walked around the book store, bought some stuff together... He was a super nice man. I really miss his writing.

    I've actually never used either AOL or CompuServe. I didn't get the internet until the mid 90's and used newsgroups (Usenet) through my local ISP and the plain old web usually from Netscape but I think I switched back and forth between it an IE at times.

    At that time, my ISP offered Usenet free also. I used it quite a bit. ;)

    I have to go on the Grader in a bit. only me and one other Guy. my 2 other Guys worked 13 days straight when I was gone so I'm giving them the weekend off.
