    I bet she burned herself with those ridiculous sex scenes on Dexter. As fas as I am concerned, even by industry (for high profile shows) it seemed a bit out there.

    have no idea what you're talking about.. she got hired for the new season of 24 after dexter cuz she did a good job. she wasn't fuckin annoying like julia styles was on her dexter season. the sex scenes were kinda tame too.

    Yeah no that's what I meant. That was the point, that she didn't show anything. Should have worded it differently sorry.
    IIRC the amount of sex scenes with her character and Dexter and by the same token, the actual amount of actual R (or M?)-rated nudity on her part or lack thereof was straight up ridiculous. They used some cheap FX in the end to shop out her nipple which should have been visible based on angle and lightning. Shit got old fast.

    So since people are clearly able to google said scenes, my 2 cents are at the end of the day, they certainly give the seasoned (casting) director a confused frown. So... her track record so far was the tough-ish action chick. Then the Dexter role, the damsel in distress-turned-to-evil chick, imho that whole thing turned out to be a let-down.

    Disclaimer: I am a random straight guy straight out of the demographic, anyone else can gladly share his :2cent: :)

    Nah I understand what you mean now, It was actually really weird during....I think the sex scene in the last season? where they filmed it from angles where it felt like you were meant to see her naked but in post production she had a change of heart or something? It's just...why film it that way and then cgi her breasts out entirely, I didn't understand that at all, just looked so weird during the scene imo.

    It will be interesting to see what she does in Manhattan Nocturne, since the book is filled with sex scenes, curious to see if she has a change of heart with the nudity dodging.

    Yeah, if Yvonne doesn't get nude in Manhattan Nocturne, she'll probably never get nude. That film will be the test to see if she's ever going to get naked for us.
