    The "we couldn't replicate the myth, let's just blow something up" thing only crept in as the show went stale...and it was always the "build team" (i.e including Kari) that did that stuff, and the annoying whooping and high-fiving at the end.

    IF the show wants to go back to its roots, with just Adam and Jamie, I am totally up for that...but we don't know where this is going yet.

    I hadn't considered this but I think that you are right. I went to see the "Mythbusters" live stage show when it came through (okay, I'm a nerd) and I had forgotten what the old show was like. Overtime the show seemed to evolve into two shows, Adam and Jamie and then the Build Team, and they were barely related. I certainly enjoyed things like their rebuild of the raft that three inmates supposedly escaped for Alcatraz in.

    From what I've heard, Adam has said that they wanted to focus more on the actual procedure/building/etc. leading up to the experiment/whatever like they used to. If you remember the early days, most of the episode was showing how they were doing this and that, rather than skipping nearly straight to the experiment. I'll miss Kari, Tori, and Grant, but I'm all for that if that's indeed what they go back to doing. Though hopefully they don't bring back the "Folklorist" :lol:
