We have been getting some previews of other celebrities recently so hopefully we will get a proper preview screenshot of Jennifer Lawrence's archive as well.

 

I'd bet money on it being over. Whether because of the law cracking down or lack of material.

 

Yes, I did. And it cost her emotionally and with a great deal of public humiliation. People are capable of learning from their mistakes. Besides that, I always felt that their relationship was more of a convenience/marketing thing anyway.

 

She can try to sue the world but she will still have to live with the fact that she was a willing subject of those shots and anyone who drops their eyes down to boob level will have likely have a clear memory of those cute tittles.

After then UK News of the World phone hack scandal, just about anyone with half a brain would know that phones and the cloud storage is at risk of unauthorized access and she (along with the others) should have been aware of the fact that, as celebs, they would be targets and used a conventional digital camera or video cam instead of a mobile device. We are not talking about my 50 year old married, house wife neighbor or her sexy 17 year old daughter. These are ladies that the paparazzi go all out, like they did with Kate Middleton, to take compromising photos.

It may sound like I don't sympathize because I don't.

 

I find your lack of sympathy disturbing.

 

If you are stupid and a celebrity, and put naked pics on a mobile device or storage, then I don't have sympathy for them either.
I pity them for their stupidity, maybe, but that's about it.

 

I wonder which route JLaw will take when she eventually comments about this herself. (She'll have to, eventually, for the story to have closure)

A) Teary-eyed interview with Oprah or a serious journalist?

B) Laughing it off on a late night show. (ex: ScarJo on Letterman talking about her leaked pics)

I really hope she opts for the latter, because then I won't feel so guilty.

 

I hope so too. Her pictures are no where as 'scandalous' as Jessica Brown Findlay or Melissa Benoist pictures.

 

What's scadalous about any of the pictures? They were just having fun with their partner, and someone stole the pictures. If they showcased anything actually bad then sure, but right now it's just their private life, which is like everyone else's.

 

She is so humorously irreverent and casual, even risque, in nearly all her past interviews I have seen, even at red carpet events, that I seriously doubt that she will act otherwise regarding these pics. I fully expected that she would eventually do nude scenes in mainstream movies (although who knows, now), so I doubt that she is overly embarrassed about showing her body.

These actresses know that they are part of the millions and millions of women around the world who take nude/sexual pics of themselves, many of which are posted on porn sites willingly (except for the "girlfriend revenge" types). Nude selfies and sex pics are almost a norm these days, at least among younger women, so shooting them is not that scandalous (although having them stolen is).

 

From the likes of it Jennifer Lawrence is taking this very hard. Kate Upton and others have already appeared in public and the media is starting to ask when Jennifer will step out.

I think people on message boards are more dramatic about it then the actual celebs. Im "sure" their poor, poor lives are destroyed. Give me a break

 

Perhaps she does feel humiliated. It is not that unlikely.

 

In another month, when the hype machine for the next Hunger Games movie starts churning in earnest, she'll be everywhere. She's probably just taking the chance to relax before the stress of interviews and red carpets starts up again.
