I read on Reddit that 27th is the next date for updates. This makes sense since all the past stuff was also released over the weekend.

 

Yeah, the pattern has been to slowly leak stuff little by little here or there during the week to remind people they still have stuff to release, and then do the mass dumps on the weekend.

I agree on the pattern. They drib and drab it all week with a little bit here and there, then do an avalanche on the weekend. Obviously they have a fair amount left based on the initial list. Plus we don't really know if that is truly it.....

 

I believe that there will be more Fappening leaks this weekend and the weekend after that, etc. The leaker seems to be some college student that doesn't have time during the week to spend all day releasing thing on the internet.

 

I don't think it's that. He wants attention/views/hits, and more people are free over the weekend to stay up all night and keep checking for updates.

 

I think law offices and courts being closed is also a factor. It'll take longer to start getting sites to delete things if they're released on a weekend.

 

You really think if an A-list client calls up screaming about her nudes being all over the internet a lawyer is going to say "sorry, it's Saturday, I'll get to it on Monday"? It's totally about the added attention that comes from people not being at work/school and having more time on their hands. If you have something of value, you release it when you've got as many people watching as possible in hopes of getting more people to give you money to keep going.
