    Haven't heard anythign from her in like 2 years or so. Old news on her imdb page say something about "Open" on HBO but that obviously never got aired. So... just wondering. :)

    What are you talking about? She is having 2 movies in post-prod., and another one is shooting right now. That's more than enough work for 2 years.

    Whoops you are right.
    Yeah I think one movie was already in post last year but I'm not sure. I mean the amount of post-production classification on imdb makes me basically skip the titles with the red addendum. But thanks anyway :)

    Films get shot all year, but they can stay unreleased during a while for a few reasons, not just post-production. If you want a shot at the big awards, release the film around November-January, as it will be fresh in the memories. If it's a tentpole attraction, summer. If it's a production with so-so prospects, February-March or September-October is the right frame, as the market is less crowded then.

    The decision about the HBO pilot was taken last month. Torv played a character in a relationship with Jennifer Jason Leigh.

    I think it's very likely that the pilot will be/have shown to Netflix and let's hope they pick it up! The only show that's bringing in the viewers to HBO currently is Game of Thrones, so HBO doesn't have the monopoly over mature original shows like that used to.

    Now I'm very sad. She had a pretty interesting lesbian character in Mistresses and Jennifer Jason Leigh is often amazingly good. Plus, HBO freedom for nude lesbian sex. :(
