    I was able to open the house up for two hours about the middle of today.....have not been able to do that in several days....shut up down that the temp is dropping. Suppose to get some significant rain beginning late Saturday night thru Thursday. That is OK by me.

    As some of you may know, I recently had one of my fence gates replaced. The replacement is 6.5 feet wide replacing a 4-foot wide gate. The swing area is obviously larger now. I began working to dig out the dirt and roots to account for the larger swing area today. :shock: Son of a bitch it is hard work. The area includes space right next to a large Oak tree (over 30 feet high) and an old hedge row....totally loaded with roots. I have to have it done before workers return here on Monday. I may use my power washer to blast away the soil so I can cut the roots more easily. I had counted on working Sunday, but now that looks like a rain day.....I may be working in the rain. :?
