What if someone steals a car, parks it on the street in front of my house and I look at it. Should I be accused of theft? Because that's the implication Jen made with her comments. She wasn't just attacking the people who stole her photos (a legit complaint in my opinion) but she also called everyone who looked at the pics a sexual criminal too. I like Jen but I thought that was an incredibly stupid thing to say.

Point taken, I can understand and am one of those offenders cause I've enjoyed her pics. However it'd be understandable for the owner of the car to be pissed at you as the owner of the house it's parked in front of.

Yeah, it wasn't the best comment, but what's the harm? She was violated and she went nuclear. It doesn't affect me that she lashed out.

By that reasoning you should be held accountable for the fire that breaks out in the building you just happen to be walking past at the time of ignition. It's a ridiculous assumption because there's no correlation between cause and affect.

Well, if your car is stolen and you find it parked a block away if front of someone's house you might assume that person stole it and with some anger expect an explanation from them. Don't get all fancy using terms like "correlation" and phrases like "cause and affect." The point still stand that everyone has an expectation to privacy whether digital or physical. While calling people who have viewed stolen nude photos sex criminal might be misguided and hyperbolic, at the very least it's understandable.

So if there were hacked nudes of Brad Pitt, or Channing Tatum, or whoever the girls are into these days, J Law and them wouldn't look at it right? Puhleeze. The hackers did a scummy thing, not us, as if we promote this shit.

No, it's more like someone stole her car, then invited everyone else to joyride in it.

    Silly little boys.

It's all about who she wants to see her body and how and when. Her body is her own not yours or mine no matter how much our lust would like to plead different. She has every right to be angry and feel violated for having stolen photographs meant for presumably one person to be presented before the world for everyone. If you feel guilt free looking at the pics then fine whatever, but criticizing her for either taking the pics or her response to the theft then that's a problem.

Anyways, thanks to the OP. Hot pic, and that snake better know how lucky it is goddammit!

Completely agree with this. Massive difference between Lawrence showing what she wants to show and is comfortable showing to the general public and the hacked photos which were only taken to show her boyfriend. Now I looked at the hacked images but I really don't get the sense of entitlement on this forum sometimes as some people seem to think it is their right to see Jennifer Lawrence or any other celebrity naked and if they do not want to appear naked or are upset at their private photos being hacked then they are either a prude or stuck up.

As I have said before, if they are stupid enough to store private images on a cloud or other external storage device, then they can't complain if it is hacked and the pic leaks out.
(sure they are meant to be secure, but how many leaks does it take for these low IQ celebs to get it)

This is after many other leaks/hacks have happened in the past btw.

... and to feel sorry for them when they don't even know us, Phun nor care. Why should we care. They don't see these posts you know, and you certainly don't know them to defend them.

To be fair to them, it's a feature of iCloud that the photos are backed up in the cloud without their knowledge and/or kept in the cloud after they're deleted without their consent.

It's pretty much impossible to get around anymore, and no, it doesn't make the invasion of their privacy any more justifiable.

Don't take the pics, or keep it on a flash drive or something personal in your safe etc.

Despite that, defending a Celeb like they are your bff or something is ridiculous.

The celebs that were hacked had their shit on the cloud. Whether or not it was backed up after deletion is irrelevant. They had their shit on there to start with anyways.

Stating it is a terrible invasion of privacy ... well celebrities (and followers that think they are their celebs bff :) ) ... welcome to the 21st century.

That is like saying that it is the womans fault when she gets raped because she wore a dress that showed a lot of skin or she got really drunk at a party.

Jennifer Lawrence made a simple mistake, a mistake 99% of people would have made in the same situation and even with that mistake none of those photos would have been seen if someone did not break the law and hack them.
