because we all know when people say basketball players and rappers....they must be racists right? So if he had just come out and said black guys, that would be racist? So if somebody asks what kind of men do the Kardasian women go for, how would I properly describe their preference without sounding racist in your view? Clarification? Alright, let me clarify… testify… mystify...

I don't like the 'Yo' image, period. Does that make me a racist? Well, maybe against people who are that way. Truth be told, I've had African American people in my life that I have respected a lot, some of which I would have called friends. Moreover, if it is a white person who is 'Yo' as well, I hold no less contempt.

I'm just not into that persona, with all the bling shit and rap and everything that goes along with it. So in this regard, yes, I think the world could do with one less rapper, spewing the same recycled, aggressive, bullshit formula. There is so much better music out there (yes, I listen to music played with instruments), with way less 'obvious' models of behavior to follow.

It's about how you carry yourself, not color, but color becomes an unfortunate consequence of the situation.

 

Well not all rappers do the same bling and same recycled stuff. Will smith was a rapper. Does that make him a thug that sell drugs? The guy that she's with is a nba player. No crazy arrest history or anything like that. It just seems like if a white woman is dating a rich black guy there is a problem.

lol dude, you're funny. You get questioned about a very suspect statement that sounds a lot like you're generalizing one particular group, and now you're telling people not to respond to you? I think you need to examine your personal views a bit more. Rap/hip hop is not one in the same as being a gangster, nor is being a professional basketball player. And we both know you weren't talking about rappers/basketball players that are white, because the guy Iggy Azalea is photographed with is a black dude. It doesn't really matter what *you're* into at the end of the day, btw. It's a matter of other people having the right to choose how they want to express themselves, as long as they aren't hurting anybody else. Same goes for a lot of interests and lifestyles that a lot of uptight, ignorant people seem to have an issue with, that don't affect them directly.

 

So by moderate he means ban or something? I'm just making sure. If a white chick wants to be with a black guy then who cares? As long as they like each other it's their business. I'm black and I don't get pissed off if white guy is dating a black girl. But hey, if he wants to ban me for that then ok.

 

Using Black or White as a description (in this century) is not racist. Saying rappers majority persona is violent and/or egotistical, gangsta, is true. Not liking the generic rappers persona is an opinion and as valid as saying you like their persona.
