    I don't know what you're using as a benchmark to judge a penalty as "harsh", BB, but a handful of trivial posting transgressions will earn users a few infractions and a vBulletin-automated suspension of a fortnight, and that's the benchmark I'm using!

    chevychase1 felt it necessary to remind us that the age of sexual consent in some parts of the World is lower than that which we've adopted! One is forced to conclude that he believes that our ruling to be ill-judged - why else would he mention it? I cringe at the thought of just how low he believes we should drop our 16+ threshold! MadamMeow warned him to keep his opinions to himself!

    He immediately retaliated, "They are simply facts.", which is an utterly lame attempt to justify his uncalled-for "observation"!

    Scribe then pointed out to him that when on phun.org, you follow phun.org's rules, not some rules you might have found elsewhere that you prefer!

    To which, after having been warned gently by a Mod and an Admin, he chose to respond by suggesting we were guilty of hypocrisy!

    I think a month is pretty moderate! Nothing has been hidden!
