    I used to hook up with a girl who had two Beagles. One was named Balki Bartokomous; the other, Tater Salad. I used to say Balki's name as "Booooowww-key" and I'd say Tater Salad's name as TATER.

    Hollywood idiots? You clearly see what you want to see with assumptions and lack of facts.

    I've been a supporter of this cause for awhile now. What they do is go through the very convoluted process of freeing animals from research laboratories, which is incredibly complicated by the fact that those facilities prefer not to release animals, or even sometimes acknowledge they have or use animals. Those rescued come with no medical history and an uncertain future but at least get a shot at a happy life.

    Having a celebrity attend an event raises the profile of these groups and allows them to attract more supporters, which ultimately strengthens the cause.


    I don't usually post anything but comic comments and I avoid the almost mandatory celebrity arguments over 'she's hot or not', and will now resume that function.

    On a serious note - no matter how impossible it may seem - my intentions are to one day rescue a research laboratory beagle and show it a way better life.
