Actually the best WW ever (besides the original) would be Katy Perry :yes_new:

 

Katy would look damn good in the costume, but I still think Alexandra Daddario would have killed it.She looks so freaking hot when she gets mad . . .

and that's why I wouldn't cast her as Wonder Woman. Look at Henry. the dude bulked up insanely! and without any steroids or what not. and why? he said because that would be cheating and he wanted to look the best for his superman role. and he was damn right. he is the far best looking Superman ever.

the older Woman Woman was great for that period of time. in this day and age, we expect to have a true Amazon warrior to look like a woman that is really packed! same goes for Superman. imagine Henry looking like Christopher Reeve back then. people would be on his ass for not looking like Superman. because that day Superman isn't quit fit for the modern age.
getting back on Wonder Woman, I think they should have picked someone else. someone who would dedicate herself fully for the roll. and someone who could know how to act. don't know why, but Bridget Reagen comes to my mind.

 

Alex would be a good choice but IMO Katy is more "accurate" to the original WW (body and face), I think they are pratically identical.

 

Henry was already pretty muscular by looking at Immortals, which was released almost 1.5 years prior to MoS. In a sense he had an "easier" path to get bulk up since he had a good foundation. Gal didn't really started the harder weight training until she got the role of WW. I think they want someone who comes across toned and maintains a feminine look.

How muscular WW is or isn't won't be as much of a concern to me as the way she is used on the big screen. Marvel has been taking a hit w/ how they use women on the big screen, so now DC has an opportunity to not repeat the same mistake. Ultimately, I think DC wants to create a character who is strong-minded, rather than someone who just looks physically strong.

IMO, we need to see more footage of Gal as Diana/WW in order to figure out if she was the right call for the part. Casting comes down to chemistry and screen presence (ie. acting ability) in addition to looks. In the end, something about her was appealing to Snyder. I think people (in general) mostly liked his call on Henry, and are quickly warming up to Ben.

 

Katy wouldn't work at all. Everyone would see "Katy Perry" and not Wonder Woman.

Plus, there's that little fact that Katy can't act...

 

This is a smart objection She is too popular everywhere to be a "total credible" WW.

I would not be so sure about this. I think there are many so called "actresses" that can't act.

yes, I agree with you. we definitely need more of her screen time because 3 seconds of her is waaay too little. I just hope she's had acting lessons after Fast and Furious, because she was so bad in it...
