This photo confuses me.

Thought that was Phil Collins behind her for a second.

 

Thanks for chloe, always great to see her threads. Requesting that someone photoshop out the guy , though... he ruins this photo.

 

The metadata says the photoshoot took place on 6-22-15. Thus this was taken on the trip to NYC where she appeared at a 6-23 Coach party in the same skirt (see here).

The guy is the actual subject of the photo. The photo will appear in a portfolio featuring 30 top creative directors with their muses. This guy is Stuart Vevers, Creative Director for Coach. A creative director is much like a movie director: the person responsible for all pictorials and events for a magazine or fashion line. That means designing sets, choosing the clothing and the style of each photoshoot, casting models, photographers, make-up artists, photo-editors, etc. In the case of fashion lines, such as Coach, they are also responsible for the look of the models and actresses when they appear at events such as MET Gala or fashion week.

 

Date taken was 7/6/2012

 

So in other words, to represent their brand and feature their creative director, Coach chose to photograph Stuart Vevers more than a year before he came to work for them, and Chloe Moretz 3 years before she signed on to represent them as the "face of Coach", dressing her in clothing they would not be producing until 3 years in the future, then doctored the EXIF data so that it would appear to have been taken while Coach was presenting their line at their summer 2015 party.

Makes perfect sense. O how easily the rest of the world was fooled by their simple ploy.
