Hailee Steinfeld - Photo For Republic Records (August 2015) [HQ]

I did some research:
The pic is not "for" Confront Mag, as the credit says "via Republic Records".
The EXIF data says the picture was taken on June 9.
Of course that doesn't necessarily mean it's true, but on this day Hailee did a photoshoot with Dani Brubaker at Smoky Hollow Studios in L.A. (the second time this year), tweeting / snapchatting these pics:

and took a pic with an intern (?) there:


since then these finished pics have appeared:


it's also quite likely the cover of the "Love Myself" single was taken that day as well, as it's also by Dani Brubaker:

 

And why do some people and especially the press generally assume that an actor's music must suck and a musician's acting must suck? Most artists used to have a 'normal' job, but making the transition from accountant to musician somehow seems to be more accepted than from musician to actor, even though both acting and music require smilarly creative talents. In fact most creative people do more than one kind of art and wanting to make that public is only natural. The fact that they are usually respected for what first made them famous while their secondary endeavour is usually written off as being crap or merely a vanity project has mostly to do with people being biased and narrow-minded, thinking, "what right does X have to do that? X should stick to doing what I know X for."
