    The awful company mails it in with their last issue, not only choosing a "celeb" nobody cares about anymore but combining the last 2 "months" into one issue.

    What a pathetic disgrace of a publication they are. This issue proves they don't care one bit about their customers or the product, they're lazy and they have zero standing in celebrity culture anymore.

    Good riddance. I hope the entire thing closes up shop soon.

    Their choice of Pam Anderson shows why Playboy stopped being relevant over 20 years ago. Miley would have been a better choice. Pam has been in the Mag how many times? I haven't bought a Playboy this century and I guess that streak will continue.

    I guess they figured that since folks will see this issue as a collector's item why shell out big bucks to get someone. Pam and Jenny McCarthy probably offered to do it for next to nothing. Playboy really started to lose it when the bean counters took over in the 90s. Of course who knows, maybe Pam was the best they could get/afford. And they're out with a whimper.

    The new Playboy "without" nudes arrived yesterday. They still have nudes. But you don't really see anything because they are, as we define in headers on Phun, "nude but covered". Strategically placed hands, draped clothes, laying on stomach, blurred areas, etc. You still see bare butts, however, when laying on stomach, or a side shot....... Some shots have "see-through" clothes. I don't think I will renew when subscription runs out in two months. It is printed on better paper and thicker cover/pages.
