    If we are gonna sling a bit of poo, let's do it correctly.

    1) She reigned as Champion for nearly three years, not really 15 minutes of fame as previously implied.
    2) She got knocked the fuck out 59 seconds into second round of her last fight. I may not be correct in saying this but aren't championship rounds five minutes long?

    2) All rounds are 5 minutes long. In championship fights, there are two additional five-minute rounds.

    Loses in MMA don't mean as much as they do in boxing. She'll still continue to be a "star" regardless, or at least until the inevitable rematch happens and she loses again. She was so utterly dominated that the mere 6 months they're planning on rematch probably won't be enough time to bring her skills up to par.

    To be fair though women's MMA is fairly new so the depth of competition is kind of shallow. The media hyped her up against her male counterparts when they had to face MUCH stiffer challenges. She's not the Mike Tyson, or Roy Jones, or Floyd of anything really it's all inflated nonsense. Once she faced an actual truely skille fighter like Holm you could see the result, same thing would've probably happened had she faced Cyborg.

    That's silly. That's like saying Anderson Silva or GSP dominated because there was nobody in their divisions. The media wanted to put her up against men because the media is fucking retarded. And, I'm sorry, but Holly Holm is not the first talented fighter she's faced. Miesha Tate, I think, would have something to say about that. Holly was just a bad matchup for her, because Holly is a superb striker. Ronda's approach was all wrong, as well. She tried to stand with her, which was a mistake.

    The idea that this somehow invalidates her is stupid. Cyborg is a lot bigger, and a suspected PED user, but I don't think there's really any question Ronda is the more skilled fighter.
