No, flying in that vomit comet, I would be scared shitless to do that.
It used to be for astronaut training but I guess now it's been commercialized. $5k for the experience of 15 parabolic maneuvers, pretty cool.

 

Wow, her flotation devices don't just work in the water.

 

In the BTS stuff you can see she had an audience of around 15 guys, all from SI, certainly many more than were needed for the shoot. You know that the execs at SI were like "Kate and her boobs in zero G? I am so there!".

Ah the Fappening, a lesson in the Law of Unintended consequences. Sure, we got to see Kate and JLaw and a few others in ways we never would have but for Kate at least the result was personally for her devastating. She had been SI's go-to-girl for this sort of shoot, zero-G and a bikini in Antartica, who knew what was next. Then the Fappening happened and she withdrew, started being more conservative and since Verlander had signed a huge contract she didn't need to work as hard so she hasn't. And while the FBI now thinks that around 500 accounts were breached it's obvious we will never see the likes of that event again.

 

No, I just checked out their web page after I saw this post. Pretty cool if you're into that weightless stuff.

 

In all fairness. If my company had rented out that flight and I knew there was space available I would have demanded to be on it. Kate Upton or no Kate Upton.

 

What's hilarious though (and sorry, I can't find the pics now) is they're just sitting like an audience. It's the photog, two stylists and IIRC an assistant and then all these guys. It's obvious that they weren't there for the Zero-G experience, they were there to see Kate and no doubt hoping to get a glimpse. They weren't floating around, they couldn't be without being in the way. I once went to a talk given by Russell James, he is the head photographer (in fact he shoots over 90% of their stuff) for Victoria's Secret. He strictly limits access to his VS shoots to folks who have to be there, if you're there you're working, holding a reflector or being a stylist. He won't let folks be an audience, it's in his contract. The new owner of Maxim Magazine now insists on being at photo shoots. And now increasing numbers of women are saying that if he's there they won't be because it creeps them out. If you worked for SI and wanted a ride in the Vomit Comet I'm sure that there was another way because you couldn't be flying around while they were trying to do a photo shoot, you would get in the way of the lights, etc.. No, those guys were there to perv on Kate.
