agreed.... i give Marten the credit for that scene though, assuming he told them the complete story to Hodor's name and they didnt come up with that themselves. But we will have to wait and see once the book finally comes out.

 

Any word on the lovely Natalie Dormer getting naked again? I'm hoping that she will make a "walk of shame" through King's Landing.

 

I can't remember where I read it but I think I read that Martin did come up with the "hold the door" thing and revealed it in a directors meeting. I'll try and find the article.

That would be a very difficult scene to write in story form and still have the same impact. A split scene like that is almost exclusive to the visual medium. Still, you could convey many of the same aspects on the written page by a different approach. I've given some thought to how I'd write it but I'm not going to second guess Martin. And never having read any of the books I'm not familiar with his writing style.

 

I doubt it, I think she will "join" the faith :?

The Lannisters and the Tyrells are dead set against her "walk of shame" and it looks like they've brought in the troops to stop it. Queen Margaery seems to have the High Sparrows number and I think she'll be out for revenge, with her and Cersei on the same side I wouldn't want to be in the High Sparrows garb.

Let's hope not. There's nothing good about those walks of shame. To me, nudity is not nudity. It all depends on what type it is. The walk would not be fun to watch.

 

No nudity this week, but fuck, that was epic television! Edge of my seat beginning to end.

 

Worst season in terms of nudity.Only 2 main character got naked,Carice Van Houten and Emilia Clarke.

 

I don't actually read thinkpieces, but if there haven't been yet there will be after next week about how this season is an extended treatise in proto-feminism given who's actually running shit across both continents at this point.

Sansa is the rightful claimant for Ward of the North, Margaery is controlling Tommen's dick, the women in Dorne, and of course, Dany herself and admiral Yara Greyjoy.

 

If all you do is watch this show for tits, then you're wasting your time.

 

I don't watch for tits (all though i don't mind them...), i watch for the stunning plot twists G.R.R.Martin tends to throw our way.

Sadly, those seem to be a thing of the past, i haven't seen anything that really surprised me this season.

But maybe the plot twist are saved for the books, they seem to be a completely different universe now as i understand it.

 

don't forget eline powell, this season hasn't been high in quantity, but it has been high in quality.

Its just bad fanfic now. Those battles were Awesome visually. Otherwise they were ridiculous.
Sadly I dont think we'll get much more nudity out of GOT. We gotta hope WestWorld delivers.

 

the Show has left the books way behind, and is actually the prevailing paradigm for most of the planet now. also, why the fuck does nudity even remotely matter when you can get battle scenes of that quality delivered to your tv..?!
