    How come everyone apparently believes her anyway? Granted, this would be the first time in the history of the world that a woman made unsubstantiated claims during divorce proceedings in order to get a more of the man's money, but still.     I don't know about other people, but I believe her because I remember the Johnny Depp of the 1990s. He was famous for alcohol and drugs, and destruction of hotel rooms. He also has a history of arrest for fighting, and settled out of court in a case where he allowed his bodyguards to assault, handcuff and drag away a disabled woman at a concert. He's a great actor, and he's wonderful with kids, but he's also quite wild at heart, and reportedly started drinking again not too long ago. On top of that, Amber Heard was not a broke nobody when they got together. She's been a successful, semi-famous, working actress for years. While she didn't have Pirates of the Caribbean money, she was still what the average person would call rich when they met. California law may entitle her to half, but even if she gets nothing she won't be hurting for cash.
