Sara Underwood - Nice view of a waterfall pic- From IG 8-1-16

OK, I'll be the first to say it...I didn't even see the waterfall.

 

The national parks tour she's been on has produced some breathtaking images. And she ain't fucking around either, she and her photographer have hiked way into the the wilderness to get shots with the most impact.

This current tour is not necessarily a National Parks tour. Crater Lake is a place she has been to several times. There are pictures taken with snow all around her from previous visits. It is a tour of some places in Oregon. The Ramona Falls pictures were at a spot outside of Rhododendron (US26 foot of Mt. Hood) which requires a 3.5 mile hike in where you have to cross a river to get to. There is no bridge. The river is cold mountain runoff. There are some downed trees and logs that you must crawl across. There is an 1100 foot rise in that hike. Then you have to hike 3.5 miles out. Some are in National Forests. The Smith Rocks pictures she took are just east of Redmond Oregon. You drive right past them on Highway 97. Timberline Lodge shots were on Mt. Hood. ski resort. You could see the summer Palmer ski slope in the background. The blue pool and springs at Broken Top mountain were in the Cascades just north of Three Sisters (mountain peaks), which are just north of Bachelor Butte ski area west of Bend. Sara is from Scappoose, which is about 20 miles NW of Portland on the Columbia River. Some of her photos for skinny dipping were taken at the nude beach on Sauvie Island, between Portland and Scappoose.

 

She's also posted from Bryce, Zion, Yosemite, Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier, all of which are national parks and hence why I used the term. You don't need to be so pedantic.

 

Are we sure they dont pay her to promote those parks?Because if the dont...thats a crime!

 

I was only referring to the current tour she is posting from. The only National Park on that tour is Crater Lake. They were just passing through on that one. The previous tour was through many National Parks. You are correct that they have been posting some great pictures as she also did last year on her tour through Italy.
Pedantic? Guess I will have to look that one up.

 

I'll have to check out the Italy pics. I wasn't following her back then.

It was in the Spring. Most were on Instagram. About April She was there about 4 weeks in, I think, three countries but primarily in Italy.
