    Her mother is a nightmare, she had to get legally emancipated. It's a wonder she hasn't turned into a complete train wreck yet. The real danger will be when Modern Family ends and she doesn't have that stability (and the responsibilities that come with it) in her life.

    She will be quite ok money-wise after Modern.

    Depends if she turns to drugs or uses it wisely. She might just look for her next acting job.

    There's always the matter of key creative people and performers getting bored or needing to quit, for whatever reason. But other than that, Modern Family has the structure that you could see it continuing for many years, with the original kids having families of their own to add into the mix. It's still funny as hell and the girls continue to get sexier as they get older, so...
