    Not sure why this is "ridiculous". It's a known fact that they CGI'd Lena Heady's head on to some other chick's body for her "walk of shame" in GOT.....

    Dude, huge difference between going nude for a three days public "walk of shame" like that and a rather small indie film. Smaller movies have a much smaller budget and movies like this are supposed to be very real and raw. Using CGI for a movie like this is like shooting yourself in the foot. Besides, I'm pretty sure Lena Headey was pregnant when they shot the shame scene.

    Not sure why it's ridiculous either. The scale of the nudity doesn't matter - if an actress would rather not go nude and an alternative is possible, why not give it a shot? I wouldn't blame them. I hope this scene is genuine, and I think it is, but it's far from ridiculous to suggest it might possibly not be. I expect it will increasingly be the case over the coming years too.

    how many French / German arthouse movies starring an actress that has never had any problem with nudity have been using CGI to show said actress topless?
    and not just for a few frames, or badly lit from a distance, but full on, well-lit scenes, showing her body moving around (and her tits jiggling)
    it is ridiculous

    Plus, Stewart has repeatedly stated that she actually went topless for this movie; so, it's her body that we (will eventually) see in Personal Shopper, not a body double. There's no doubt about that.
