Yes! was waiting for something like this... Could be a body double, have to check the credits, on IMDb are listed a couple of stunts but, so far, doesn't say anything about body doubles.

 

Certainly the body type looks right...impressive full butt, thin up top. But always hard to say without a better continuous shot that involves the face.

Based on what? Just because you can't see her face doesn't mean it's not her, that's just lazy thinking.

I think it is her. Look at the body type, it looks very similar to Mary and consistent to what we have seen from her leaked pics. She's also shown more and more lately and I hope this means she'll also show her boobs soon.

I get it, trust me i would love it for it to be her. But it's not. Just based on the way it's shot. in earlier shots on her back you can clearly see the ear poking out and suddenly in the next shot when she stands up you cant anymore. Now, i'll give you that it does seem like a very similar body type and indeed her upper back (shoulder blades, muscle structure seems to be very similar almost too similar for it to be a double but after all they have professionals to find people and have catalogs of body doubles to choose from. Also you can't see shit in her leaked pics. These pics are old af, grainy and we don't get an ass shot like that in them.

Another thing is that she is a very smart and careful actress. She's one of those Emma Watson no-nudity type actresses and it would be outright shocking if she were to just give us an full blown close up of her bare ass for Fargo a series that didnt excactly kill it in the last season, it tanked in ratings and the critics werent crazy about it either. Also you can never see her ass when its her not even when shes running out the door i just think if they got her to agree to show her ass they would have made it undeniable that it's her.

Only thing that gives a little pause it that we can see Ewan Mcgregor's ass when he steps out the tub and he is a big deal so it might have persuaded her aswell. And as i said the shoulder blades and upper back in general. So im not saying its impossible or anything and if it is her she a fucking great ass. But yea i just dont think its her.

I decided to take another look at the scene (from a different source) to see if you were right. And I became even more convinced that it's indeed Mary showing her butt.

I have looked online for Fargo related articles, anything to indicate that Mary used a body double for this scene and I couldn't find anything. Then I went to the imdb page to see if there was any double/stunt performer listed in the entire cast list, and again I didn't find anything.

Comparing her pics from VVV Magazine last fall with the naked butt from this scene, I'd say there's a high probability that ass belongs to her. And there's also the fact that this isn't just any show, but a prestigious and critically acclaimed one like Fargo, just the type of show Mary would be comfortable making her nude debut in. And I remember another actress showing her butt in one of previous seasons without the use of a body double, meaning the show doesn't have a history of doing this kind of things.

Now taking all these things into account and the way the scene is filmed (FX can only show butt nudity and she seems to be wearing nipple covers as she exits the scene at the end), I'm pretty sure that Mary really showed her ass in this scene. I think if somebody asked her on twitter or in an article or something, she would confirm it.

 

Whether it's her or not, the last series was even better than the first and was praised by everyone, i.e. "overwhelming acclaim from television critics" from Wikipedia. The ratings are low because it's on FX.
