    She's cute as hell, but was a bit of a bitch when Castle imploded... kinda dampens the image a little TBH... it's also a shame she's seemingly done nothing since then bar a cameo in GOTG2...

    While I didn't see it myself, when Stana was fired from Castle, she went on a bit of a tirade on twitter about how Fillion was the one that made Castle Castle it seems... and I believe she acted poorly when the show was cancelled a week or so later...

    That is funny because from what I've read, Stana approached the studio (and/or producers) with demands that were way too high. In hindsight, maybe she was tired of kinda sorta the ambiguity of not being the lead but being a lead. The show was called Castle, after all.

    Fillion had been a bit of a twat during the contract negotiations the season before & the two had fallen out in a big way (hence the splitting of the on screen couple in the final season), so not shocked she wanted more money to work with him.

    The whole fucked up mess was moronic beyond belief and it was seriously saddening for those of us that were fans of the show. None of the leads came out of it smelling of roses & I suspect that part of why we've not seen the cast get any big roles since is down to the clusterfuck BTS got them black listed or something

    Speaking towards your bit about that she wanted more money to work with him. Imho one can't really expect that showrunners agree to higher salary demands with that kind of spin. If that kind of deal would become public knowledge (and it definitely would), it would be disastrous and would certainly get everyone blacklisted, except Fillion (who would most likely be humiliated and sue). Unless "being bit of a twat" stands for something truly bad, I don't know.

    During season 7 both Stana & fillion's contracts were up for renewal. Fillion signed really early, then reportedly put significant pressure on Stana to sign hers (IIRC, she was also organising her wedding at the time as well). When Stana didn't quickly re-sign, his pressure got worse... and was the catalyst for their friendship off screen & the onscreen relationship disintergrating.
