Very nice Vados and great find. I knew Natalie had a nice body but damn actually seeing her in the flesh really confirms it. Can't wait for this baby to come out on DVD.

Im still skeptical, she is nude, but she covers everything, and if their is a part where she does show something, im pretty sure its gonna be a body double from what ive heard, and its not like these are sexy scenes or anything, she is dirty as hell and in some scene she is being tortured and molested by a preist, so needless to say im a little dissapointed...

All the naked scenes were a body double.

 

It's been officially stated that the torture scenes were body doubles. I don't doubt that the scenes with other actors present (no Portman face) are body doubles as well. However, the face in GIF 1 looks like her. So unless it's like Beckinsale in the Haunting (where the body double partially showed her face, but not enough to tell that it wasn't Beckinsale) that GIF has to be Portman. Even though she isn't technically nude in it.

That said, only GIF 1 could actually be Portman (well kind of...having second thoughts now.). And I'm not even 100% certain about that one. However, I think it's her. Her director in this flick is stubborn. I think he'd get at least one actual scene out of his star.

 

Well, we still have the topless beach pics to tide us over. I know I know, thinking positive sux..

That sucks. That they are all a body double. Still, the first gif i posted looks a lot like her. I'm hoping that these are real.

first of all whats she so shy about she must know here topless beach pics are plastered all over the internet and everybody who wants to see her pastie little tis has.
second see will go topless in front of strangers at a nude beach but wont show the goods for her fans? this =loss points

and last nothing pisses me off more than body doubles. lets see portman did you read the script? O and you liked it all but the nude parts and you want some one else to play them huh? Well what if in part of the story porman needs to cry
and she doesn't want to she could ask for a double for that to.

My point is if an actress does not want to do nudes she should'nt read scripts with nude scenes in them. and should not be allowed to alter the movie thats what directors are for. and their are many many actresses waiting to get a break I say give it to them and let the prudes like portman go without work see how many bodydoubles she gets then.

That was some rant.

Most people probably don't like the fact that actresses often use body doubles. Well, most people here... I also think it's lame that non nude actresses take roles where nudity is required. That said, it's a trend that is likely to continue, and even get worse. (If you think about it, the Aniston debacle couldn't have helped)

The truth is, actors aren't generally hired these days on their acting abilities alone. They are hired because of their recognizable names, faces, and physical assets. Natalie Portman's face and name are far more important than her acting ability. Hell, there are thousands of girls that could have done just as good a job as Portman. However, Portman is a bankable star.

When it's more about the money than the art, expect the trend to continue.
