    On a dvd of last season, there was an interesting extra feature which was specifically about her and Ethan Kutcosky (Carl) growing up within the raunchy Shameless plots. They, their parents, and producers/directors admitted they were exposed to many adult scenarios at early ages, but their parents were generally tolerant and insisted only occasionally that a scene be toned down. Of course, growing up on any TV series, raunchy or not, probably leads to a very different cultural environment than non-acting children.
