Nice GIFS, Terribly disappointing flick. The hype behind some of Stiles scenes were incredible. They turned out to be tame and lame. So very, very disappointing.

 

Love the underwater nips; too bad about the goddamned milk, though!

Julia Stiles: I won’t go naked on film
Julia Stiles Julia Stiles has said she’s unlikely to get nude on screen any time soon.

She told the Independent recently: “It’s not that I’m prudish. It’s just that I don’t really want to go to work and take off my clothes.”

“You’d be surprised how much nudity is called for as an actress. I don’t have a problem with it or a problem when other actresses do it, but I’m a modest person and generally steer away from nude scenes and love scenes because, more often than not, I find they’re gratuitous.”

“I’ve worked with foreign directors who think that it’s an ‘American thing’ [not to do nudity] and they don’t understand why it would be such a serious issue for me. But it’s not my own hang-up; it’s the hang-up of the audience.”

Jessica Alba has expressed similar sentiments in the past and Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman both insist they’ll only strip for the right project.

Like Natalie Portman, Julia added that she is also worried about what will happen to the scenes after they’ve been released: “People in the film lab can do something with the footage and, no matter what the context is in the actual film, it can end up as pornography on the internet.

I find some actresses just so incredibly naive. They aren't getting hired for their acting ability as much as they are their name, face and appearence.

It's all about how marketable they are at the moment. Portman, Alba (among others) can choose to be picky. Ms Stiles better not say no too many times, if she wants to stay in the business. She's about 1 minute from becoming Rachael Leigh Cook. Doing lame indies, failed T.V. pilots, and about 100 appearences a week at events and openings in order to stay fed.

Of course, if her mentality is that everything nude or sexual is porn, then forgetaboutit.

 

Eh, I don't put Julia in the same boat as many of these other actresses. I mean, she went to frickin Columbia or something, and actually does what i would call "film". Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore - much more at stake. Shit, Mandy Moore should just get nekkid right now.
