A bunch of stupid assholes. You'd think the moderators at Snapchat would have some idea about the content offered by their wildly popular members and have the good sense to ignore obvious trolls. If someone reported Maitland's videos and images I wouldn't delete the content, I'd ban the person who reported them. Facebook and Instagram are the same way, they're run by fools.

 

I agree with you, but snap chat is trying to make money now. They have to try to transition away from the "sexting" app. Thats why they have that terrible update to show people more adds and sponsored content.

 

They'll make money regardless.

 

true but its about changing the image of your brand/product. If advertisers see what people think of your brand, they will be less willing to give you ads to sell and will give it to you for less $. Also if you have an age restriction on your app or people are posting more controversial things i.e nudity/sexual acts, you would get less money then if you didnt allow those things.

Its why porn sites always have such shitty ads. Even with the amount of traffic they get to their site, they cant attract high end brands that are willing to pay to put ads on the site for fear of jeopardizing their own brand. Look at all the hubub that youtube was in when certain ads were appearing on "controversial" videos. Youtube went crazy and demonetized a lot of videos when they shouldnt have for fear of losing sponsors.
