Director Bay didn´t allow her to do it to keep the movie´s PG-13 rating, an attitude that´s criticized by many critics and movie fans as being "sell out", because a PG-13 rating in theory allows a larger audience to come see the movie than an R one."

    I have a very hard time imagining that in 2004 she wanted to show them in a Michael Bay movie, when in 2006 she talked about "perhaps some day for the right film with some interesting European director"
