Not a single nude scene so far this season, will there be any?

 

Not a single female nude scene so far. They already hit us with male full frontal. Feels like a response to some people's criticism about the nudity being mainly female last season, more's the pity.

 

really pathetic and ratings are also going down. might as well air it on network tv now a disgrace compared to s1 which really showed it was a PREMIUM CABLE.. this is not good. I hope they go back to s1 nudity in s3 because this is ust a joke now

 

There's still lot of episode this season. I hope there will be interesting scene.

For the moment i'm really confused. But it was funny the male full frontal scene ahaha.

Joking aside, nudity isn't really that appropriate for most of this season's scenes. ? The hosts are mostly running around shooting people, of course they're not doing it naked.

 

This argument irritates me to no end. Female full frontal nudity has never been as explicit as male full frontal nudity. Just because breasts are shown it is expected that male actors show their genitalia. And, usually full frontal male nude scenes are well lit and close up whereas female full frontal nude scenes are usually obscured by either low or soft lighting, distance, pubic hair or the actress wearing a merkin. When is the last time you saw labia, or heaven forbid, a clitoris on TV?

 

The male full frontal nudity scene was quite justified in the actual story to show the shift in power from the humans to the hosts. During the first season, you had a ton of scenes with full frontal nudity from Thandie Newton as Maeve, as she was just considered an object, with a few men lusting over her body. Then, in the second season, she wanted to humiliate an actual human. If looking at a pecker during 2 sec at worst gives you nightmares, it's time for you to switch to lesbian softcore.

 

All the full frontal scenes from Thandie Newton had no visible genitalia (obscured by pubic hair). Often even the males showing full frontal nudity are completely shaved making them even more exposed yet we are supposed to be satisfied with full thickets of pubic hair and merkins. Why should I have to look at soft core porn to see the same level a female nudity that is shown of males on TV? Even soft core lesbian porn don't show female genitalia as is shown of male genitalia on TV or main stream films. I can give you a long list of shows that had close ups of male genitals yet not one show showing close up female genitals. The double standard is what irks me.

 

Male ff scenes are never justified to me, I wish they were reduced significantly.

 

Female nudity is never inappropriate, especially on a premium cable show. The more the better I say.

 

Westworld can be summed up this way: First season was humans killing puppets, Second season is puppets killing humans. Other than that, there is not much to warrant watching. I am disappointed.

 

The nudity in Westworld has never (IMHO) been gratuitous... It's always served a story purpose. This season, apart from maybe the scene this thread is about, there's not yet been any moments in the story that nudity would fit... Other than Mauve treating a human in the same manner as she was before.
