    10 months, assuming one of them isn't February, is between 300 and 305 days, or 43 weeks.

    Yeah we all say 9 months but it's really 39-40 weeks. I don't know why we settled on the norm of 9 when it's almost always 10ish

    It is probably just simple accounting, "Tell me when you got pregnant, add 9 months and that is the month that you will probably have the baby".
