    Pretty crazy to think:
    • you are in a major city with millions of people, practically every household with residents uses at least 1 AC unit
    • your power goes out in this heat
    • twitter is some kind of last resort to reach out to a public entity

    most of hte houses by the beach don't have ac. most of the time, it doesn't get above 85. there's maybe a week or so that it goes up. those in the city are boned though. no ocean breeze at all.

    I a bit surprised there haven't been more rolling blackouts given all the heat wave areas lately.
    Maybe that infrastructure actually got fixed, or maybe it is just that it hasn't happened to me.
