    I'm sick of emos, period. And given that his band is referred to as being "emo", what's the problem in using it? Plus, it's a thread title description of the male companion of a female celeb, so who gives a fuck? ;)

    The problem is that it's not accurate, for Wentz or the band.

    "Emo" as a music genre is bullshit. It's simply a word lazy people came up with to pigeonhole a new style of music which was pioneered by Dashboard Confessional, TBS etc.

    Pete Wentz isn't an "emo" either. He's just a wanker who has the odd "emo" tendency (the black gear, the eyeliner and the 'poor me' attitude).

    BTW I despise true "emos", every time i see one i have the urge to crack some skulls.
