I really do hope this kidney works better for her. If it can take away some of the problems it would be an immense improvement on her every day Life.

My niece had a kidney transplant a few years ago and we just had a scare which thankfully she is coming good with. How Sarah went through a rejection, a return to dialysis (which is horrible particularly when you thought you had left it behind you) and a new transplant while continuing to work on Modern Family and maintain such a positive public persona is beyond me and fills me with admiration for her. While her support from her family has been tremendous (both her Dad and brother have donated kidneys to her), I suspect her on-set family and show-runners must also have given her a lot of support also.
I wish her all the best

She's adorable & deserves a lot of credit for the way she's handled all the health issues.

Sadly she's probably not going to be around for a long time, she's already rejected one kidney which means the other is in serious jeopardy. Such a shame too she's tough as nails and got dealt a shit hand

My mom went through dialysis for several years and while she was a lot older than Sarah is, I saw how taxing and tiring it was for her and all the others. So the fact that Sarah would go through dialysis and work long days on set and fulfill all her other requirements is deserving of a round of applause for her. It doesn't matter how famous or how much money you have, 3 times a week dialysis is exhausting(my mom would come home and barely be able to walk from one room to another without being winded).
