    I'm a big BSG fan, but to be honest I think season 4 is a good time to call it quits. There's only so much story you can tell with the limited characters, & settings, and with the way in which the series has very quickly advanced, I think detracting from that and pushing the story further than season 4 would be a mistake.

    The strain already started to show halfway through season 3. Don't get me wrong, season 3 had some of the best episodes of any sci fi I have ever seen.. But alot of them seemed a let down with cop-out story lines, poor character development, incosistencies with previous events, poor scripts, some dodgy effects in places (the show axed the head CGI consultant after season 2 due to streamlining), and generally a sense that some of the passion for creating a great story had dwindled.

    I mean, how much more of a battering could the Galactica take now? It's practically falling to pieces as it is - The only way they could successfully pull off any decent space battles (which I certainly want) would have to be in the form of flash backs, more cop-outs such as an alliance with the final 5, or resulting in the Galactica being destroyed.

    I think with the way things have been set up, season 4 has the potential to be the best, and go out with a spectacular bang, and with the Pegasus movie Razor coming out in November, I'm certainly looking forward to it. Oh, and there is talk of obtaining the big screen rights from Glen Larson...That, I would really like to see!
