    Yeah, both are very good movies. The original is more musical-like, more dreamy. Some like it better, some don't.

    kieks isn't 71 years old man. he's 12 years younger than me - i think. he should be content to just leave it at seeing the first one. the johnny one is fine, but i would have been just content as well in only ever seeing just the first one.

    Thanks slerby. To be honest, when it coms to movies I don't have a full appreciation of many old ones, I don't watch a lot of them. But I grew up with this movie. I take your point, there is a lot of ignorance. Another example being that song 'Pump It' by the Black Eyed Peas, which is a complete rip off Misirlou, one of the great songs out there. Younger people will grow up not even knowing of the original.
