It was written & directed by Karen, she's doing exactly what Watson hasn't.
Doctor Who gave Karen her breakthrough role, exposure, career opportunities (and money)
and she's put it to good use.

She wrote and directed that? I didn't know that, so she wrote and directed her own nude scene and didn't tone it down or shoot it with ridiculous angles, bravo Pond. Obviously there is more to the movie than that, I don't mean to whittle it down to just the sexy bit but this is Phun after all so it wouldn't make sense to ignore it right?

Not just as a vehicle for her in front of the camera, but to give emerging talent their acting break (imagine the break for others if Watson did that, but each to their own),.

I don't agree to Directors persuading Actors to strip for a scene when it adds nothing
to a scene and its purely tits n' ass for box office.

To me there is always a possibility to rework a scene in a script to cater to actresses wishes. So if you dont want to show it all you dont have to. I can appreciate a nice boob scene as much as the next one i have a cook after all, but for the most part its the sensual and erotic chemistry between the two in love that sells it for me.

 

I strongly urge you all to watch if beale street could talk. A great love story.

 

So agree!!!! Fucking is fucking, but when there's sensuality/passion (and maybe even love)
it will blow your socks off.

I know this story. She was seen as just a stereotypical sex symbol whose only talent and skill was her looks. She turned out to actually be brilliant and her invention would have probably ended WW2 sooner if the US had actually used it instead of laughing it off because she was just some hot woman which obviously meant she had no brain hers is a sad story overall, she didn't get nearly as much credit and money for her achievements as she should have, mainly due to chauvinistic attitudes.
