    It's going to Senior Mutants in the Retirement community by the time this movie comes out. It was supposed to come out like 3/4 years ago. I am not confident in its quality.

    Release date is April 3rd 2020, but agree its been on the shelf & waiting for far too long.

    It WAS supposed to be a horror movie, but as I understand it test crowds thought it was too scary, so they re-did it...so, who knows?

    during the 1st delay I remember reading they redid it to add more horror elements. After the 2nd delay, the rumour was they were removing connections from the past FoX-Men to integrate it into the MCU. I don't know what to believe. I'm shocked this is actually coming out.

    The horror elements treated really well, so Fox wanted to add more and add in a scene to amp up franchise potential (avoiding spoilers, if you know the Sienkiewicz run, it sounds like they wanted to show the next member to join, rather than wait for a potential sequel).

    The Disney-Fox deal tossed schedules in upheaval. Disney recut the movie a little, cutting Fox references, and that also tested really well, so that is what they are going forward with.
