    It was the network, not the critical care equipment - but yeah, still wasn't good. took 10-15 minutes to get systems back online :mad:

    We've got MANY different applications servers. Each of which has an interface connected back to the main healthcare app. They all have queues on them that hold results until they connect back to the other side - so you never lose that info. The only data we can lose is when the modality's (mri, x-ray machines are called modalities) network connection drops - then the tech has to redo the procedure.

    my sister is like some medical record keeping person and they had a power outage or some shit a while back and she was working like 12 hours days trying to get all their crap straightened back out

    LOL - Does she work in Alabama? We just wen't through that as well. Power outage that time brought the main server down and some of the drives didn't spin back up, took us 2 days to get it back up. Took Med Rec's a week to catch up.

    Yeah, it's supposed to be only from 7:00 to 11:30 so it wont be bad. My problem is that my garage looks like Sanford and Son's front yard - I gotta get all my shit out so she'll have room for hers. :mad:
