    Ugh, I feel that pain. Thank you middle school fights for tearing a hole in my stomach and giving me a permanent issue with acid reflux(I fear I shared too much there, oh well).

    And you still get reflux?! Wow, I suffered from acid reflux for years and ate Gaviscon tablets like sweets! Finally I started experiencing instances of my oesophagus closing up temporarily so that I couldn't swallow food or drink! My GP said it could be cancer, although he thought not, but sent me for urgent tests, which showed I'd got gastritis, duodenitis, oesophagitis, and every other "itis" in the area, but not cancer! I was put on Lansoprazole (30mg per day) and haven't suffered any more of the unpleasant symptoms! If your reflux hasn't been controlled I suspect you might need your dosage increased?

    What? Add more acid? :eek:

    Yep, tricks your body into thinking it has produced enough acid. Works for me, your results may vary.

    Omeprazole aka Prilosec over the counter, no prescription. It works great, to the point where I don't need to take it every day.

    I went through a spell with reflux. It was nasty. Felt like a heart attack coming on. Prilosec helped somewhat. After numerous tests we decided it was stress induced. Changed jobs and been good as new ever since.

    i had alot of reflux for a week after my stommach surgery a few years back. It wasnt to pleasant but otherwise i rarely get it.

    I have the same problem. I have slept 4 hours a night for 2 months. My problem is arthritis pain. After 4 hours sleep I can't ignore the pain anymore.

    I stayed In Sydney for 5 days on one trip to Australia and a friend and I tried 25 small brewery beers over 2 days. We'd start drinking about noon and quit about midnight. A good time was had by me and I wish I could buy most of them.
