    In Cali, if you're a pedestrian, you're supposed to walk on the left, opposing the traffic. Everyone can see each other better, to avoid collisions.

    I agree with the ASS comment!

    I just googled CA vehicles codes, didn't see anything stating that it's illegal to walk on the right side. Never heard of a law like that anywhere in the US.

    Wow. Seriously? Maybe it's not an actual "law", but it's always been common practice (for as long as I can remember, and I'm old-er, and from Upstate NY) that if you're walking on a road, you walk towards oncoming traffic.

    Yes, I agree that's the logical thing to do, but I've never seen or heard of someone getting ticketed, arrested, etc for walking on the right side.
