You don’t see Dion Dublin or Alan Shearer doing photo shoots like this, and you wonder why she complains that she doesn’t get taken seriously when talking football ‍♂️

 

That's because no-one wants to see Shearer's hairy chest in latex.

Photoshoots like what? This is not a Hustler magazine shoot. Its not even Maxim level. I fail to see the correlation between this type of photoshoot and whether she should be taken seriously when talking about...anything.

 

If you are trying to win only a very judgemental male dominated audience that woman shouldn’t be telling them about football when they have never played the game at the very top level, then doing photoshoots trying to look pretty doesn’t improve your argument. If you go on Twitter whenever she’s doing a match you’ll see her trending and the mindset she’s up against. For the record I think she a decent pundit. Not brilliant but does nothing wrong when called upon.

 

Ok. Got it. Your opinion is that she should conform. I still fail to see the correlation between a photoshoot in which she is trying to look pretty (which is a subjective statement. Maybe thats just who she is? Who would try to look ugly anyway?) and her believability or credibility. I dont know of her, Ill admit, but a google search shows she was a player herself at a top level and even a member of a championship team. Id imagine she at least has an inkling about the game. Athletes do photoshoots, does that take away from their abilities or call them into question? Maybe the problem is the judgemental males that cant stand the idea of someone else being as efficient or even better than them at something. What do I know?
