    If it makes you both feel better the plot is rumoured to be about the girls having grown up and are now angry because they were heroes for so long and not treated well by the public or something. It's a CW show so be ready for storylines that don't make sense and other usual CWness things that follow all their shows.

    Yes, they are teenagers/20-somethings now, rather than the cartoon child age. Still a kind of weird project (do the powerpuff girls really need an edgy deconstruction?), but we'll see how it goes.
