    Don't be silly. People in the entertainment industry cannot date someone with a "normal" job or different tax bracket. You wouldn't be able to relate to each other.

    As painful as this sounds (I still like to imagine that I have a chance with an actress, but alas), there is a lot of truth to this. Actors tend to live in a lonely bubble because their fame makes it difficult to tell sincere people from those who are simply fans or those who want to exploit you in some way. Being with someone in the industry allows the actor to be able to relate and confide things that only someone inside the industry can fully understand. This bubble extends to film crews (Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman have married people who are a cinematographer and choreographer respectively, for example).

    I dunno if Machine Gun Kelly is a nice person or a tool, but I do envy that he's someone Megan Fox can relate to and date, while we can only stare and admire. :oops:
