Who pissed in your cornflakes? Dont know enough about her to discern if what you say is true. She was on some show my kids used to watch and I heard a little bit of one of her recent songs. Still, seems your argument can be made of many, many people in the music industry. This is nothing new. Execs see dollar signs and roll out the next incarnation of their money making machine. I get the impression that she believes she is a music artist. Which is to say, if she is what you claim, I dont think she knows it.

 

I'm guessing the gentleman made the original comment He's probably way too old to appreciate her music which by the way is quite good.

 

Could be...or he may just not like her style of music. Its all about preference and its all subjective. Theres no universal measuring stick to set a standard for musical talent or good looks. Sure there is some music that may seem to be unquestionably good music. Trust me, theres someone out there who hates that music. In the end, its all opinion. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one and they all stink.
