    Its from the original creator and is taking place in that timeline, not the reboot. I assume the comedy will be prominent. I dont see how you go back. His personality is pretty set and the tone of the show will follow suit, I assume. Saw an article where the creator was talking about how Chuckys powers have evolved in the last movie, the one in the mental health place, to being able to possess other dolls and humans and even possess both at the same time. Im cool with the comedy as long as theres a good anount of gore and shit. I think the reboot didnt resonate with me because Chucky didnt seem like Chucky.
