    Not exactly, NBC has pushed boundaries more than any of the other major networks in recent years(probably due to being at the bottom of the ratings perennially). Nowhere close to an HBO or Showtime, but it could be something fairly good depending on what the show is. If it's one of those filmed before a live audience, it'll be next to nothing. If not, who knows? We'll see when we see.

    That's interesting, because pilots, if they're not picked up by one network, can potentially go to another or be reworked into a movie or something, so if a show is not yet picked up to series, they may not necessarily be following typical S&P rules when it comes to stuff like nudity and language. Of course if it doesn't get picked up, it may never be seen anyway, so it probably wouldn't matter. When it comes to canceled pilots, I always think about the old HBO pilot called "Open". It was supposed to be heavily sex focused, and had a bunch of potential for great nudity, but as far as I know it was never released and never leaked.

    From what I understand pilots that are flat out rejected tend to be dead. Its rare that they get a second chance like Debby Ryan's Insatiable which was a rejected CW pilot and picked up by Netflix
