Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Well... to be totally accurate, she was born in 1979, and so Ukraine was still part of the USSR. So calling her "Russian" is actually OK.

    Honestly, I'm so glad I went to grammar school while the Cold War was going on, geography was so much easier back then. Between the USSR splitting into 15 different countries, Czechoslovakia splitting up... lots more countries to learn the names of!
